International singer/songwriter,Isla Grant, travels the world singing and playing her distinctive brand of Country Music, but is never happier when she is at home in the Borders of Scotland. The tranquility of the Borders and the beautiful countryside gives her both time to relax after her hectic tours as well as giving inspiration for her songwriting. Isla started singing in folk clubs, mainly in Scotland and the North East of
England and it was during that period that she discovered Country Music. Now some years later, with eleven albums behind her, some of which have gone triple platinum, Isla has launched her own record label. (I.G.E.) She released her first album on the new label called, Isla Sings Hank. in October 2008. Home again after successful tours of Canada, New Zealand and Australia, Isla has graciously consented to perform an extra concert in aid of Duns Golf Club, where she is a member.
