Lauderdale Limpers Running Club
Lauderdale Limpers Running Club was founded on 25th November 1997 by John Wilkinson, Bill Stevenson, Dave Blaszk, Brian Bell, Graeme Sutherland and Andy Cook.
International Hill Runner, John Wilkinson coached the club for the first five years before retiring. Graeme Sutherland took over from John and still leads the Tuesday sessions.
The running club`s aim is to promote running as a fun & enjoyable way of keeping fit and new members will be made most welcome. Club kit is available for sale; T-shirts, tracksters and socks.
The Limpers meet every Tuesday night at the Leader Leisure Centre in Lauder at 7.30pm-8.30pm. Refreshments and a chat are available after each session!
Junior Limpers meet in the Leisure Centre during the winter and outside in the park in the summer on Tuesdays at 5.45pm-6.15pm for children 6yrs and 7 yrs - running, throwing and jumping games to introduce children to athletics. 6.15pm-7.15pm for children 8yrs and over -running, throwing and jumping skills, using decathlon and shine awards.

Friday 23rd October: Charity Quiz, Auction & Raffle. Team sof 4, £12/team. 7.30pm for 8pm start. Lauderdale Hotel. All proceeds to Breast Cancer Charities.
